✨
I began hosting a true crime night and expanded my literary horizons, thanks to @dianesamu for inviting me to her book club.
✨
We welcomed friends from the Netherlands for a visit, which was such a treat.
✨
In Knoxville, my mom hosted a vision board party, and we followed it up by getting our colors done with @houseofcolour_knoxville_maura. That eye-opening experience naturally led to a shopping spree—because how could I not wear my colors now?
✨
I attended a trade show in Nashville and finally met the remote team I’d been collaborating with for over a year.
✨
We enjoyed another magical summer on Harsens Island, where Bobby and I had a memorable (and mildly chaotic) adventure chasing a bat out of the house.
✨
A huge thank-you to my dear friend Dina from @creativethunderdesign for convincing me to attend #AdobeMax in Miami. It was incredible! I learned so much, took a deeper dive into new AI tools, and danced the night away to T-Pain. What a show!
✨
Bobby and I celebrated our 9-year anniversary, hosted Thanksgiving, and threw a memorable holiday party for Nicole Victory Design before wrapping up the year with Christmas festivities.
✨
Between these highlights, there were plenty of moments spent gardening, tackling house projects, nurturing new friendships, and navigating the inevitable frustrations and chaos of life.
✨
At the start of the year, I set a financial goal for my business—and not only did I meet it, I exceeded it. I share this not to brag but as a reminder of how far I’ve come, a place I never imagined I’d reach. To my amazing clients who continue to trust me with their brand visuals and websites—thank you. You’ve made this journey so rewarding (cue misty eyes).
✨
As for AI? I’m still figuring out how I feel about it, but I’ve started using it almost daily.
✨
Thank you, 2024, for the growth, lessons, and memories. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store—I’ve got big plans and even bigger goals.

Design the ultimate last minute/not last minute Ne Design the ultimate last minute/not last minute New Year’s Eve Invitation with me!

Every year my brother hosts an epic New Year’s Eve party and asks me to design an invitation, which makes it not exactly last minute. However, the details are usually few and come via sporadic last minute texts.

Decided to put some of my new skills to use that I learned at #AdobeMax. Thanks to @AdobeExpress and @adobe_firefly.ai I was able to put together this animated invitation in less than 2 hours. I even made this reel using @AdobeExpress

✨ Counting down to an incredible #NYE2025! 🍾 Let’s toast to new adventures, new goals, and all the memories waiting to be made in #2025. #HappyNewYear2025 🎉

I’ve worked with a variety of cosmetic surgery, beauty, wellness, and medi spa businesses to establish and improve their messaging and branding. These types of brands have an especially fine line to walk between medicine and aesthetics, and it’s so important to establish credibility. First impressions are vital to building trust.
✨
In this industry, one of the best ways to build trust with your clients, beyond obviously being qualified and good at what you do, is to visually convey your trustworthiness and qualifications. When your clients emotionally resonate with your brand, trust is established on a deeper level.
✨
This looks like:
✨
Consistent color palette, logo variations, icons, and imagery that reflect your brand values. Consistency is the ultimate subconscious vessel of familiarity and trust.
✨
Social media strategy and visuals that further communicate your brand values and abilities
✨
Language/messaging that establishes who you serve and how you do it better than anyone else
✨
Visually communicating that your clients are in good hands all starts with creating a foundation for your brand. When clients see that you have invested in your brand and thoughtfully considered what they’re seeking, they’re more likely to trust that you can fulfill their needs. I have a detailed questionnaire that I use with all of my clients that helps establish what’s at the core of their brand.

If you’re looking to brand your beauty or wellness business, I’m currently booking Q1 of 2024. Link in bio to get started. 🤗🤗🤗
2023 was one of my best years since I’ve been in 2023 was one of my best years since I’ve been in business, but this success didn’t happen overnight. I’ve been at this full time since 2011. In fact there were many times I wanted to close my business down and try something else. I’m so glad I stuck with it!

In the spirit of adding more transparency to what it takes to run a design business, I wanted to share some numbers in the hopes that it helps other designers and clients seeking out designers. This guide is a basic explanation on why design costs what it does.

I’m not quite comfortable spilling all the tea on my numbers, but props to all of the designers out there that share full income reports and contribute more transparency to our industry.

All time was tracked using @toggltrack. Leads, clients, and expenses were all tracked with @the17hats.

Update your footer copyright date: Nothing makes a website look unloved more than an old copyright date

Test your contact form: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to use a contact form only to discover it isn’t working. Make sure your potential clients can get in touch with you.

Review your analytics: You can’t start making improvements to your lead generation system until you analyze what’s working and what’s not.

Clean up broken links: Use a broken link checker to ensure all of your links are still directing your leads in the right place. Make sure you have an effective 404 error page in place with links that can help your potential client get back on your website.
